On August 27, Jindo County in South Jeolla Province held an "Early Use Campaign for Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupons" in the area around Jogeum Market.

According to the county, more than 50 people participated in the campaign, including County Governor Kim Heesu, representatives from the Jindo County branch of the Korea Foodservice Industry Association, and the Jindo County Small Business Association. They actively encouraged the early use of consumption coupons and the use of traditional markets.

Governor Kim stated, "The livelihood recovery consumption coupons serve as a priming pump to revitalize the local economy. I expect that early use will have a positive impact on boosting the local commercial district and economic recovery. We will continue to prepare various support measures to stabilize residents' lives and restore the local economy."

Meanwhile, applications for the first round of livelihood recovery consumption coupons are open until September 12. Applicants can choose among credit or debit card recharge, Jindo Arirang gift certificates (paper type), or Jindo Arirang gift certificates (mobile or card type). If the coupons are not used by November 30, any unused balance will be automatically forfeited.
