Samsung Bioepis has been selected as an 'Outstanding Labor-Management Culture Company for 2025,' an initiative organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
Samsung Bioepis announced on the 27th that it held a certificate awarding ceremony and a plaque unveiling event for the Outstanding Labor-Management Culture Company at its Songdo headquarters in Incheon the previous day (the 26th), with key officials including Kim Yuntae, Director of the Central Regional Employment and Labor Office, in attendance.
The Outstanding Labor-Management Culture Company program is a certification system that recognizes companies that establish and exemplarily practice cooperative and mutually beneficial labor-management relations. Samsung Bioepis received this certification in recognition of its efforts to facilitate communication among employees through various channels by operating a labor-management council, as well as its initiatives to promote employee growth and enhance welfare.
In addition, the company is implementing a variety of labor-management cooperation initiatives, such as strengthening job training for employee development, operating a musculoskeletal center for the treatment of chronic diseases related to work, and expanding welfare infrastructure by opening a new in-house clinic.
Kang Daeseong, Head of the People Team (Executive Director) at Samsung Bioepis, stated, "This certification and award are the result of our ongoing efforts to establish and embed a mutually beneficial labor-management culture. We will continue to do our best to foster a vibrant culture of communication between labor and management, based on mutual respect and consideration."
In December last year, Samsung Bioepis was selected as an Outstanding Health-Friendly Company by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. In May of this year, it was also recognized as an Outstanding Company in Gender Equality in Employment by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, continuing its efforts to build a corporate culture that enhances employee engagement and satisfaction.
