Minsol Kim has risen to 130th in the world rankings.
In the Women's Golf Weekly World Rankings announced on the 25th (local time), she received 0.98 points, jumping an impressive 142 spots from 272nd last week. She earned ranking points by participating as a recommended player and winning the KLPGA Tour BC Card·Hankyung Ladies Cup the previous day. Having already secured four victories this year on the secondary Dream Tour, Minsol Kim achieved a wire-to-wire win, never relinquishing the lead throughout all four days of the tournament.

It has been about three years since a recommended or invited player won on the KLPGA Tour, with the last being A Lim Kim at the 44th Chris F&C KLPGA Championship in 2022, where she participated as an invited player. As for recommended players, Minsol Kim is the first KLPGA Tour champion in six years since Hae Ran Ryu won the Jeju Samdasoo Masters in 2019.
Atthaya Thitikul (Thailand), Nelly Korda (USA), Lydia Ko (New Zealand), Minjee Lee (Australia), and Ruoning Yin (China) maintained their positions in the top five. Among Korean players, Hyo Joo Kim is ranked 8th, Hae Ran Ryu is 10th, Jin Young Ko is 15th, and Hye Jin Choi is 24th. Last week's LPGA Tour winner, Brooke Henderson (Canada), climbed from 58th to 25th.
