"Apple and Blue Crab Prices Lowered"... Lotte Mart Launches 'The Hot' Price Stabilization Campaign Lotte Mart Grand Grocery Eunpyeong Branch agricultural produce display view. Provided by Lotte Mart.

"The Hot" is an annual campaign designed to contribute to the recovery of people's livelihoods and fulfill the social responsibility of large discount stores in stabilizing prices. Through various promotions such as "This Week's Hot Price" and "Straight Price," Lotte Mart will offer essential weekly items at ultra-low prices. This event has been organized to focus on major seasonal products, in line with the peak period for fresh agricultural and marine products.

This week's "Hot Price" item is the newly harvested "Hongro Apples" (4 to 8 pieces, domestic). On August 30 and 31, customers who pay with the event card will receive a 1,000 won discount and can purchase them for 9,990 won. With the end of the fishing ban and the start of full-scale operations, "Live Blue Crab" (100g, refrigerated, domestic) is also available at a reasonable price. During the entire event period, customers who pay with the event card will receive a 20% discount, making the price 992 won. Lotte Mart's live blue crabs are caught early in the morning, stunned in cold water below 5°C, covered with sawdust, and delivered directly to stores, ensuring they are offered as fresh as possible while still alive.

The "Straight Price" items are also diverse. Aiming to help people recover their livelihoods, this project eliminates unnecessary markups and selects about 10 items each week to be sold at special prices. For this event, "Gangwon Fresh Carrots" (1.5kg) will be available for 5,990 won, while "Potatoes" (1.5kg) and "Figs" (1kg) will be offered at 4,990 won and 9,990 won, respectively. In addition, from August 28 to 31, "Half Giant Pork Ribs" (100g) will be sold for 2,580 won, and all ice cream cones and sandwiches will be available in packs of 10 for 8,900 won at special prices.

Lotte Mart's private brands "Oneuljoeun" and "Yorihada" products will also be heavily discounted. "Oneuljoeun Seedless Dried Plums and Dried Mango Slices" will be sold for 4,995 won each when purchasing two or more, and "Oneuljoeun Soft 3-Ply Toilet Paper" (28m, 30 rolls) will be available for 9,900 won, a 1,000 won discount.

"Yorihada Korean Beef Bulgogi" (800g, refrigerated) will be offered at a 40% discount for L.POINT members, making the price 27,900 won. "Yorihada Popular Kimchi 4 Types" (each 900g) will be sold for 7,990 won, a 2,000 won discount. In addition, to celebrate the third anniversary of the launch of the premium Korean beef brand "Marble Nine," Lotte Mart will offer up to 40% discounts for L.POINT members. Marble Nine is Lotte Mart's signature premium Korean beef brand, featuring only grade 9 beef marbling scores (BMS) from 1++ grade Korean beef.

For daily necessities and household products, Lotte Mart has enhanced customer benefits by offering up to 50% discounts and gift certificate promotions. For "Huggies Diapers" (36 types), customers who purchase two or more will receive a 50% discount and, depending on the purchase amount, can receive up to 15,000 won in Lotte gift certificates. For all "Pigeon" products, customers will receive up to 50% off, and those who spend over 25,000 won will receive an additional 5,000 won Lotte gift certificate. Other daily necessities such as "Sofy Sanitary Pads" (11 types), "Pongpong" products, and "Supertech Liquid Detergent Refills" (2 types) will also be available at half price during the event.

Shim Youngjun, Head of Commerce Marketing at Lotte Mart and Lotte Super, said, "This 'The Hot' campaign was designed to allow customers to enjoy seasonal foods at reasonable prices," adding, "We will continue to expand promotions that provide real benefits to ease the burden of grocery shopping and contribute to price stabilization."
