The city explained that this round of gifts includes not only local agricultural and livestock products but also customized items such as roasted eggs, grain powder sets, and Hanwoo beef for grilling, specifically considering the needs of single-person households.
An official from Anseong City stated, "Recently, donors in their 20s and 30s, as well as other age groups, have been participating in the Hometown Love Donation Program," and added, "We will continue to diversify the gifts to match the lifestyles and preferences of our donors."
The Hometown Love Donation Program is a system that allows individuals to donate up to 20 million won per year to local governments other than their place of residence. Donors receive a full tax deduction for donations up to 100,000 won, while donations exceeding that amount are eligible for a 16.5% tax deduction. Donors can also receive gifts such as local specialty products within 30% of their donation amount.
