Hangul Educational Animation "Hangul Wizard Gomaru" Now Available as VOD

"Hangul Wizard Gomaru" is a Hangul educational animation consisting of 13 episodes, each 11 minutes long. The series is designed so that children naturally become interested in Hangul as they follow the adventures of the main character, Gomaru, and can effectively learn Hangul by watching together with their parents and engaging in questions and answers. Based on the Hangul education curriculum of the National Institute of the Korean Language, the animation helps children understand the principles of Hangul not simply by memorizing characters, but through an adventure story.

"Hangul Wizard Gomaru" has also entered overseas markets and has been airing every Sunday at 5 p.m. on HTV7 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, since January 19.

Well-known voice actors participated in the project to make it even more relatable for children. Voice actress Park Siyoon, who played Anya Forger in "Spy Family," voice actor Nam Dohyung from "Mickey Mouse," voice actor Park Junwon from "Kaiju No. 8," and voice actress Kim Chaerin, who played Sakura in "Cardcaptor Sakura," provided their voices for the animation.

Kang Insik, CEO of Story Tiger, said, "Based on King Sejong's principles for creating Hunminjeongeum, we designed this series so that children can enjoy learning Hangul on their own. I hope this work will serve as an opportunity to introduce Hangul, the beginning of the Korean Wave, to the world."
