Training sessions were held to cultivate professional coaches who can support the psychological recovery and social reintegration of people with acquired disabilities.
The Daejeon City Jungdo Disabled Social Rehabilitation Support Center (Director: Lee Chanwoo) conducted the coach training program on the 25th at the Driving Station within the Daejeon Center.
On this day, Lee Kyungmin, team leader of the Mindulle Medical Cooperative, which operates primary care physicians and dental primary care physicians for people with disabilities in accordance with the Act on Health Rights for Persons with Disabilities, delivered a lecture on health management. In addition, Director Lee Chanwoo of the center gave a lecture and held a discussion on the significance and future direction of Social Reintegration Homes.
Director Lee Chanwoo stated, "Through this training, we expect that Social Reintegration Home coaches will become important facilitators for the independence and recovery of people with disabilities in the future."
Meanwhile, the Daejeon Center operates vocational rehabilitation, psychological counseling, and social participation programs for people with acquired disabilities, making various efforts to establish a foundation for independent living within the local community. The center is continuously recruiting participants for the Social Reintegration Home and the driving simulator program. It is located at 111-3, Basement 55, Dunsanjung-ro, Seo-gu, Daejeon Metropolitan City (City Hall Station).
