Kakao Bank is joining forces with the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation to support small business owners in the Seoul area.
On the 26th, Kakao Bank announced that it will make a special contribution of 10 billion won to the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, which will serve as the basis for providing guarantee-backed loans totaling 125 billion won.
The support is available to sole proprietors with business locations in Seoul, with a maximum loan limit of 100 million won. Applications can be made through the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation's mobile app or at its branches.
At the agreement ceremony held on the 25th at Kakao Bank's Pangyo Office in Seongnam, CEO Yoon Hoyoung of Kakao Bank and Chairman Choi Hangdo of the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation attended and pledged to cooperate in easing the financial burden of small business owners in Seoul.
With this agreement, Kakao Bank will newly offer more than 30 products operated by the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation. As a result, it plans to provide customized funding tailored to customer needs, including support for startups, job creation, and business growth. New customers can also receive a benefit covering half of the guarantee fee, up to 300,000 won.
Since last year, Kakao Bank and the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation have continued their partnership by introducing a variety of products such as the 'Quick Dream Interest Support Loan' and 'Safe Account No. 1.' Kakao Bank is also the only financial institution to consecutively participate in the upcoming 'Safe Account No. 2' program, which will launch on the 28th.
Kakao Bank stated, "We have entered into this agreement to help ease the financial burden and strengthen the self-sufficiency of small business owners in Seoul," and added, "We will continue to expand financial services for sole proprietors in the future."
