Simultaneous Acquisition of
Anti-Bribery and Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certifications
The Jinju City Facilities Management Corporation in South Gyeongsang Province has achieved a remarkable milestone by simultaneously acquiring international standard certifications for Anti-Bribery (ISO 37001) and Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001) management systems. With these achievements, the corporation is now able to further strengthen its transparent and safe management system.
On the 25th, the corporation held a certification award ceremony and officially announced its accomplishment in obtaining both the Anti-Bribery and Occupational Health and Safety management system certifications.
The Anti-Bribery (ISO 37001) management system is an international standard certification that aims to prevent corruption risks within an organization and verify the effective establishment and operation of anti-bribery management systems. The corporation obtained this certification as a result of its efforts to realize transparent management, which included reviewing and improving systems with experts and continuously conducting anti-corruption and integrity training.
The Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001) management system is an international standard certification that evaluates the prevention of safety accidents and health hazards within an organization, as well as the level of systematic safety and health management. The corporation was recognized for its efforts to thoroughly manage risks that may arise during the operation of public facilities and for its continuous improvement of systems and procedures to ensure safety, leading to the acquisition of this certification.
This certification is a meaningful achievement, as it signifies international recognition of the corporation's integrity and safety. It is expected to further enhance public trust and responsible management in the future.
Chairman Jung Sangseop stated, "The acquisition of ISO certifications is the result of all executives and employees working together to fulfill the corporation's responsibility for transparent and safe management," adding, "We will continue to lead by example and do our utmost to ensure transparent and safe management so that the corporation can earn the trust of citizens."
Meanwhile, the corporation is continuously improving its management system by strengthening ESG management and conducting local public enterprise evaluations and consulting. It also plans to acquire various international standards, including the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), to provide higher-quality public services to citizens in the future.
