Boosting Consumption with the Win-Win Consumption Lottery and Onnuri Reimbursement
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 25th that it will hold the nationwide consumption promotion event, the "September Together Festival," for one month, in collaboration with small business owners.
This year's Together Festival is the largest ever, with 29,000 small businesses participating both online and offline, aiming to rapidly boost domestic consumption nationwide. Various prize events will be held, including online and offline discount sales of outstanding small business products and the Win-Win Consumption Lottery, as well as a variety of regional events across the country.
First, more than 26,000 products will be sold at up to 30% off through time deals and exclusive deals on online shopping malls such as Gmarket and Musinsa. On eight global shopping malls, including Amazon and Taobao, 400 domestic small businesses will offer discounted sales, supporting the overseas expansion of outstanding small business products. Sales and promotion of small business products will be supported through real-time live commerce broadcasts on nine platforms, including Oasis and Grip. The "Together Products 100," selected as representative small business products during the May Together Festival, will be showcased through special exhibitions on LotteON and Coupang.
Offline sales events will also be held. Starting with the opening ceremony, traditional markets, night markets, local festivals, and small business sales events will be held sequentially at 144 locations nationwide during the festival, in conjunction with cultural performances and experiential events, offering a variety of sights and experiences. At four Panpan Duty Free stores in Incheon International Airport and six dedicated sales venues for SME products, including Hyundai Department Store and Haengbokhan Department Store, more than 700 products will be offered at discounted prices and through promotional events. Special sales events for small business products will also be held at Lotte Department Store (Jamsil, Busan) and Shinsegae Department Store (Busan), with Onnuri gift certificate giveaways prepared for purchasing customers. In addition, 200 neighborhood supermarkets nationwide will hold joint sales events, offering discounts on more than 30 items.
Events to boost sales at traditional markets and neighborhood shopping districts, which are key to local commercial areas, have also been prepared. If card spending increases compared to last year, a portion of the increase will be returned through the Win-Win Payback program, and the Win-Win Consumption Lottery will also take place. The Win-Win Consumption Lottery offers a total of 1 billion won in prizes as digital Onnuri gift certificates, awarded by drawing among those who make cumulative card payments of 50,000 won or more at traditional markets and small business stores nationwide.
An Onnuri gift certificate reimbursement event will also be held. By using digital Onnuri gift certificates, up to 10% of the payment amount can be reimbursed, and for payments made at traditional markets and alleyway shopping districts in 49 special disaster areas, a 20% reimbursement rate will apply.
Private platforms are also participating in the Together Festival to realize the value of mutual growth. Seven TV home shopping companies, including Gongyoung Home Shopping and NS Home Shopping, will hold special win-win exhibitions. Kakao will provide a 10% Together Festival discount coupon (up to 3,000 won), and Baemin will offer a 5,000 won pickup service discount coupon for takeout orders in Jeju and special disaster areas.
Seven credit card companies, including BC, KB Kookmin, and NH Nonghyup, will hold special events for consumers who use Centennial Stores, Onnuri-affiliated stores, and traditional markets.
