Region 13: Rahm, Hatton, McKibbin, and Surratt
Crushers GC, featuring DeChambeau and Casey, defeated in the final
Rahm and Hatton secure victory with birdies on the second playoff hole
Jon Rahm (Spain) has reached the top not only in individual points but also in the team event.
On August 24 (local time), Region 13, led by Rahm, defeated Bryson DeChambeau's Crushers Golf Club in a playoff at the LIV Golf Team Championship Michigan final, held at Cardinal St. Johns (par 70) in Plymouth, Michigan, USA. The total prize money for the event was 50 million dollars.

Rahm, who secured 18 million dollars (approximately 24.9 billion won) by ranking first in season individual points, also claimed the 14 million dollar prize for the team championship victory. However, 60% of the team championship prize goes into an account used for team expenses, while the remaining 40% is split among the four players. Rahm's share amounts to 1.4 million dollars (approximately 1.9 billion won). Though he did not take home as much as in the individual event, Rahm claimed both the honor of being the individual points leader and the team champion at once.
Region 13 consists of Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton (England), Tom McKibbin (Northern Ireland), and Caleb Surratt (USA). Crushers Golf Club was represented by DeChambeau, Paul Casey (England), Anirban Lahiri (India), and Charles Howell III (USA).
The team championship, which is the final event of the LIV Golf season, determined first and second place by combining the stroke play scores of all four players from each of the two finalist teams. The two teams finished the final tied at 20-under-par, sending the match into a playoff. On the second playoff hole, Rahm and Hatton both made birdies, bringing the long contest to a close.
