[Weather Tomorrow] Nationwide Rain Amid Heat... Maximum Perceived Temperature 35 Degrees

Heavy Rainfall of Up to 100mm in Incheon and Northern Gyeonggi
Daytime Highs to Reach 30-36 Degrees Celsius

On Monday, the 25th, most regions across the country are expected to experience extremely hot weather, with the maximum perceived temperature rising to around 35 degrees Celsius.

Starting in the late dawn hours, rain will begin along the west coasts of Incheon, Gyeonggi, and Chungnam, as well as the Jeolla west coast. By morning, precipitation will expand to the rest of the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungnam region, and from the afternoon, it will spread to inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Chungbuk, and the rest of the Jeolla region. Showers are also expected in some inland areas of Gyeongsang and on Jeju Island in the afternoon.

The expected rainfall amounts for the two days, August 25-26, are as follows: 30-80mm for Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, and the five West Sea islands; 20-80mm for inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Chungbuk; 10-60mm for Gwangju, Jeonnam, and Jeonbuk; and 5-30mm for Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo. Some areas in Incheon and northern Gyeonggi may see rainfall exceeding 100mm.

Morning lows are forecast to range from 23 to 27 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 30 and 36 degrees Celsius.

Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the effects of precipitation.
