On Sunday, the 24th, most regions across the country are expected to experience sweltering heat, with maximum perceived temperatures reaching around 35 degrees Celsius.
Morning lows are forecast to range from 22 to 27 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will reach between 31 and 37 degrees. For the time being, temperatures are expected to remain above the seasonal averages (morning lows of 19 to 23 degrees, daytime highs of 27 to 31 degrees). Tropical nights may occur in urban and coastal areas, so extra care is needed to maintain good health.

While most regions will see mostly cloudy skies, showers are expected from morning to evening in eastern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, southeastern inland Chungnam, Gyeongsang regions, and Jeju. Rainfall from these showers is expected to total between 5 and 40 mm nationwide.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion. Waves on the sea will reach 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 meters in the coastal waters of the West and South Seas. In the offshore areas (up to about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West and South Seas.
