Korail Holds Nationwide Emergency Management Meeting After President's Dismissal: "Reestablishing Safety"

Korail convened an emergency management meeting with branch managers from across the country at 8 p.m. on August 22 in the video conference room at its Daejeon headquarters. The meeting was called immediately after the dismissal of former President Han Moonhee was approved.

Jeong Jeongrae, Vice President of Korail, who presided over the meeting, said, "We deeply apologize to the public for causing concern due to the fatal accident involving a worker. We will focus all of our employees' capabilities on reestablishing safety at railway sites."
