The Gyeongsan City Branch of the Korea Beauty Association held an inauguration ceremony for the Gyeongsan City Sonchunsa Beauty Volunteer Group at the branch office on August 21, with about 20 volunteer members and 10 guests and officials in attendance, totaling around 30 participants.
During the ceremony, the purpose of founding the volunteer group and its future direction were introduced. The members pledged to deliver warmth to Gyeongsan citizens through regular talent donation activities and various community support initiatives.
In particular, at the event, the Gyeongsan Lions Club (President Kim Gihong) delivered beauty service support items worth 1 million won, expressing solidarity with the volunteer group's mission to care for marginalized neighbors through talent donation and supporting the group's first steps.
An Byungsuk, Director of the Gyeongsan City Public Health Center, offered words of encouragement, saying, "I hope the Gyeongsan City Sonchunsa Beauty Volunteer Group will continue to walk the beautiful path of service together with our neighbors and grow into an organization that all citizens are proud of."
Going forward, the Gyeongsan City Sonchunsa Beauty Volunteer Group plans to actively participate in beauty talent donation activities for local seniors living alone and vulnerable groups, as well as in volunteer work in cooperation with various welfare institutions.
Through these efforts, the group aims to spread positive influence by sharing hope and warmth within the community and to take the lead in establishing a culture of sharing and mutual growth.
Choi Mija, head of the Gyeongsan City Branch, stated, "Although our talents may be small, I am happy that we can be of help to those in need. We will do our best to ensure that our service not only involves hairdressing but also comforts those in need and brings vitality to their lives."
