This inspection focused on two key areas emphasized in the "Safe Workplace Project" led by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency: the 12 core safety rules and the preparedness systems for summer heat waves, heavy rain, and typhoons. Inspectors checked on-site safety devices and rest facilities to ensure the safety management of manufacturing workers.
Kim Junhui, head of the Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office, stated, "With the growing importance of industrial accident prevention across all sectors, it is crucial for both employers and workers at every workplace to pay close attention to this issue. The Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency will continue to monitor the implementation of the 12 core safety rules to ensure that no further industrial accidents occur at workplaces."
