Bupyeong-gu in Incheon will operate an artificial intelligence (AI)-based interview support program for the first time in Incheon.
On August 22, Bupyeong-gu announced that it will run the practical job support program 'Youth AI Job Application Master' until March next year, with support from Shinhan Bank's social contribution job creation initiative.
This program was established to assist young job seekers who are struggling due to the spread of AI-based recruitment environments and the economic downturn. Previously, on August 20, the district signed an agreement related to this project with Shinhan Bank, the Employment and Future Social Cooperative, and other organizations.
The AI interview support program provides comprehensive assistance through a variety of courses, including AI mock interviews, integrated aptitude and personality test packages, ongoing video interview rooms, a ChatGPT-based job application preparation group (small group sessions), and job study groups. The program is structured to offer support throughout the process: mock practice, real interviews, feedback, and post-management.
The program is open to young people residing in Incheon (ages 19 to 39, with priority given to Bupyeong residents) or those who wish to work at companies located in Bupyeong-gu. The recruitment quota includes 100 participants for the AI job application support program and 20 for the job application preparation group.
A Bupyeong-gu official stated, "We have established a system that covers mock practice, real interviews, and post-management for the first time in Incheon, in response to the widespread adoption of AI interviews and non-face-to-face recruitment processes. We will provide tailored support to help local youth connect more quickly to employment."
