Fire Safety Awareness Campaign Intensified at Ganjeolgot Area
Focus on Fire Prevention Guidelines and Safe Camping Practices
Ulsan Namul Fire Station Seosaeng 119 District Unit will conduct fire prevention awareness activities on August 23, focusing on the camping car parking area near Ganjeolgot in Ulju-gun and 11 camping and glamping sites in the region, as the peak camping season begins.
With the recent increase in the number of campers, the risk of fire at campsites has also risen. This campaign aims to inform campers about fire prevention guidelines and quick evacuation procedures to help them enjoy camping more safely.
The main topics include: ▲ the importance of initial response and securing evacuation time in the event of a fire, ▲ precautions when using batteries inside camping cars and tents, and ▲ safe usage of cooking equipment.
In particular, special attention will be given to the risks of fire caused by overheating of camping car batteries and the use of electrical appliances.
An official from Ulsan Namul Fire Station stated, "Fires at campsites can lead to significant casualties and property damage, so it is crucial for campers to follow safety guidelines and act quickly in case of an emergency," adding, "We will continue our ongoing prevention campaigns to help foster a safe camping culture."
