[Market Focus] Doosan Fuel Cell Surges on News of Fuel Cell Supply Contract

Doosan Fuel Cell is showing a strong gain of over 11% following news of a fuel cell supply contract.

As of 10:01 a.m. on August 22, Doosan Fuel Cell was trading at 27,600 won on the Korea Exchange, up 2,800 won (11.29%) from the previous day.

On this day, Doosan Fuel Cell announced that it had signed a fuel cell system supply contract worth 55.4 billion won with Samchully ES. This amount is equivalent to 13.45% of its recent sales. The contract period runs until October 15, 2026.

The company explained, "This contract involves supplying a fuel cell system (hydrogen model) to a fuel cell power plant utilizing by-product hydrogen."
