The National Joseon Dynasty Annals Museum announced on the 22nd that it will host an international youth exchange program under the theme "Friendship Forged Through World Heritage, Blossoming into the Future" from August 24 to 29.

The event aims to promote the excellence of UNESCO documentary heritage such as the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty and Uigwe, and to share the significance of cultural heritage restitution. Thirty university students, fifteen each from Korea and Japan, who were selected in advance, will participate.

Over six days and five nights, the participants will visit the Annals Museum, Odaesan Sago, and Woljeongsa in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, as well as Gwanghwamun and Changgyeonggung in Seoul. A museum official stated, "We plan to broaden the scope of exchange through a rich array of cultural experiences, including a walk through the fir forest at Odaesan, meditation at Woljeongsa Temple, fusion music performances, and traditional cooking experiences."

They will also take part in special lectures on documentary heritage, K-culture experiences, joint workshops, and a public forum at the National Assembly. In particular, the participants will directly propose visions for future cooperation during the forum.

The museum official added, "We plan to continue promoting various initiatives to enhance cultural understanding and cooperation within the international community."
