Deputy Governor Kim first visited the local self-sufficiency center to listen to the current status of self-sufficiency work projects and the difficulties faced by participants, and toured the work sites. In particular, she inspected the Eco Washing workshop and highly praised the efforts to promote the use of reusable containers in the community while simultaneously creating jobs for vulnerable groups.

She then visited the Gajo District Integrated Care Center, where she was briefed on the progress of the Geochang-style integrated care project, the training of village activists known as Onbomjigi, the community welfare projects they carry out, and the operation of the community refrigerator.

Deputy Governor Kim Hyunmi stated, "Those working in administration also need sensitivity," adding, "Welfare work goes beyond simply implementing systems; it can only lead to sustainable and innovative policies when we understand the lives and hearts of our residents."

She continued, "I will actively reflect the voices heard in the field in our policies to create changes that residents can truly feel."

Starting with this visit, Geochang County plans to continue providing opportunities for the deputy governor to communicate closely with residents, reduce the gap between administration and the field, and pursue practical and tangible welfare policies.
