Lotte Homeshopping Opens 98th 'Small Library' in Jeonju, Aiming for 100 Locations This Year

Eco-Friendly Learning Space Created at Ttasum Regional Children's Center in Deokjin-gu
Remodeled Flooring and Wallpaper, Donation of Beam Projector and Tablets

Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 21st that it has opened the 98th eco-friendly learning space, 'Small Library,' at the Ttasum Regional Children's Center in Deokjin-gu, Jeonju, Jeonbuk.

Since its opening in 2011, the Ttasum Regional Children's Center has faced challenges such as an increasing number of users and aging facilities, causing inconvenience for children. Over a two-month period, Lotte Homeshopping remodeled the group study room using eco-friendly materials, transforming it into a comfortable reading and learning environment. The company installed new flooring and wallpaper, and donated digital learning devices such as a beam projector and tablet PCs, creating an educational setting that supports both online and offline learning. The interior features Lotte Homeshopping's popular character 'Bellygom,' adding a bright and cheerful atmosphere. Going forward, the space will serve as a reading area for about 40 children and as a venue for humanities education.
