Held at All Stores Including Apgujeong Main Store
Featuring "Super Collector Exhibition" and "The Hyundai Maison" Exhibitions
Hyundai Department Store announced on the 21st that from the 23rd of this month until the 8th of next month, it will hold the art fair "The Hyundai Art Stage" at all its stores nationwide, where visitors can view artworks in various genres such as painting, industrial art, and installation art.
The Hyundai Art Stage is an art fair that presents a variety of artistic content. It will be held in conjunction with "Kiaf Seoul 2025," the largest art fair in Korea, which will take place at COEX in Seoul from September 3 to 7. Previously, in 2022, Hyundai Department Store signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Art Quantity Association to revitalize the domestic art market. Since then, the company has participated every year as an official sponsor of "Kiaf (Korea International Art Fair) Seoul."

First, a variety of art and cultural events will be held at all stores, including the Apgujeong Main Store. At the Pangyo branch, from the 22nd of this month to the 10th of next month, the "Super Collector Exhibition" will be held in the Topaz Hall on the 10th floor, showcasing paintings and installation art by blue-chip artists from Korea and abroad. The exhibition will feature about 70 works by 26 artists, including Damien Hirst, a master of contemporary British art, as well as Kim Changyeul, Lee Ufan, and Lee Kangso. On the 5th floor, at the Hyundai Museum of Kids’ Books & Art (MOKA), there will be the "Bonjour Pop-up 2025" exhibition featuring French artists, as well as educational programs and events for children and families to enjoy together.
The Hyundai Seoul will host the "The Hyundai Maison" exhibition at Epic Seoul on the 5th floor from the 28th of this month to the 7th of next month. The Hyundai Maison is a newly planned art content by Hyundai Department Store, featuring living objects that combine interior design with art. The exhibition will present about 120 works by 35 renowned Korean artists, including Kwon Kisoo, Emma Kang, and Moon Yukyung, and the works will also be available for purchase on site.
At ALT.1 in The Hyundai Seoul, on the 27th, American realist painter Alice Dalton Brown will visit Korea in person to hold a talk show as part of her retrospective exhibition. At the cultural centers in 13 stores, there will be about 75 cultural and art lectures, including a course on the history and collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
A Hyundai Department Store representative stated, "This event was planned to commemorate the hosting of Kiaf Seoul 2025, and is being held at all Hyundai Department Store locations so that customers who cannot visit the Kiaf exhibition in person can still enjoy cultural experiences," adding, "We will continue to present differentiated exhibitions unique to Hyundai Department Store, providing customers with richer artistic experiences in the future."
