Approximately 60 officials from six organizations participated in the drill, including Haeundae District Office, Korea Railroad Corporation, the 3rd Battalion of the 6339th Unit, Haeundae Police Station, and Haeundae Fire Station.

The corporation focused on inspecting cooperation systems with related agencies and enhancing crisis response capabilities. In particular, BEXCO Station is a major transfer hub for the Donghae Line commuter train, making close coordination essential from the initial stage in any emergency. Korea Railroad Corporation also participated in the drill for the first time, contributing to strengthening emergency response capabilities at transfer stations.

The exercise simulated an explosive terror attack at a multi-use facility. Equipment such as police cars, ambulances, fire trucks, explosive detectors, and fog machines were deployed at the scene. The drill proceeded in the following order: Busan Transportation Corporation's initial response, Korea Railroad Corporation's facility shutdown, emergency dispatch by military, fire, police, and health authorities, fire suppression, rescue operations, explosive removal, and apprehension of the terrorist.

President Lee Byungjin stated, "Urban metro stations are spaces used by citizens every day, so ensuring public safety in emergencies is our top priority." He added, "Through this drill, we once again reviewed our cooperation system with related agencies. We will further strengthen collaboration with neighboring railway operators to establish a robust urban metro safety network, enabling swift and systematic responses to various emergencies that may occur at transfer stations."
