The Era of Customized Talent Acquisition: HR AI Solutions on the Rise

AI Solutions Transform Recruitment and Screening
Domestic Providers Rapidly Expanding Their Presence

Industrial parts manufacturer Company A recently established a new IT services team and faced difficulties in screening candidates as a large number of applicants, including overseas talent, applied for positions. To address this, the company implemented Recruit's 'Matches' feature, which automatically compares job postings with resumes to recommend suitable candidates. It also analyzes applicants' motivations and employment fit, effectively conducting the first round of culture fit assessments for overseas candidates. A representative from Company A stated, "As our applicant pool expanded globally, verification became challenging, but now the screening process is much faster."

Another small and medium-sized enterprise, Company B, also faced challenges during its recruitment process. It was difficult to determine how well candidates would align with the company's values and working style based solely on documents and interviews. Company B adopted Muhayu's 'Monster' AI interview, establishing its own evaluation criteria using existing personality assessment data and the shared competencies of top employees. Now, the company can numerically assess not only the strengths and weaknesses of candidates, but also their alignment with core values and culture fit index.

Instead of simply selecting one person from a large pool of applicants, companies are increasingly focusing on proactively identifying the 'perfect fit' from the outset, leading to rapidly growing demand for AI solutions that support this process. Recruitment methods are evolving quickly, with customized selection based on AI-driven sourcing, verification, and evaluation.

According to market research firm Grand View Research on August 21, the global market size for AI technology in the human resources (HR) sector is projected to grow from $3.25 billion (approximately KRW 4.5 trillion) in 2023 to $15.24 billion (approximately KRW 21.17 trillion) by 2030. In a survey conducted by global HR solutions company Remote with 4,126 business leaders worldwide, 25% of respondents and 22% of Korean companies reported using AI for talent sourcing and verification.

Domestic solution providers are also rapidly expanding their reach. The recruitment management solution 'Greeting' has applied its proprietary 'AI Parsing' to talent pool management (TRM), enabling automatic analysis and entry of resumes downloaded from LinkedIn. This reduces manual work, allowing TA managers to focus on core tasks such as long-term relationship management and improving the candidate experience. According to Greeting, the number of recruiters using TRM in the first half of this year increased by 53% compared to the previous year.

Muhayu has also launched its AI document evaluation service 'Prism' and interview service 'Monster,' securing over 700 clients, including those in the financial sector. Prism evaluates self-introduction letters against hiring criteria in just four seconds and verifies for plagiarism and whether generative AI was used in writing. Monster continues follow-up questions based on applicants' answers, providing an experience similar to that of a real interviewer, and is used for large-scale applicant screening.

AI is also becoming increasingly prominent in overseas recruitment. Remote, through Recruit, leverages a talent pool of 800 million people to quickly identify suitable candidates across languages and countries, reducing the burden of verifying overseas applicants. Currently, more than 2,000 companies worldwide use the service, with over 130,000 Korean companies and applicants participating.

An HR manager at an IT startup commented, "As the job market tightens, it has become more important to carefully select candidates who are the right fit for our company each time we hire," adding, "AI solutions make this process faster and more objective, which is driving high demand."
