[2nd Report] Missing Firefighter Dispatched to 'Itaewon Disaster' Found Dead

A firefighter who was dispatched to the Itaewon disaster was found dead 10 days after going missing.

According to the police on August 20, at around 12:30 p.m. that day, Officer A (30), affiliated with a fire station, was found dead under a bridge near the First Ring Expressway in Geumi-dong, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi Province. The body was reportedly in a state of decomposition. It has not been revealed whether there are any signs of foul play. The police have recovered the body and plan to investigate the exact circumstances surrounding Officer A's death.
