On this day, Governor Lee began his visits at the Goryeong Office of Education situation room, which has been conducting the Eulji Exercise from August 18 to 21. He then visited the Goryeong Police Station, Goryeong Fire Station, and the Goryeong County Office situation room in sequence, offering words of encouragement to the participants and delivering gifts.
At each site, he shook hands with the staff, listened to their concerns, and urged them to maintain a sense of alertness as if responding to an actual wartime or disaster situation.
Governor Lee stated, "I am grateful to everyone who is participating in the exercise day and night throughout the Eulji Exercise period," adding, "I hope this year's training will serve as an opportunity for Goryeong County and related organizations to cooperate organically and further strengthen the region's security capabilities."
Goryeong County plans to use this exercise to review the cooperation system among agencies for disaster response and the safety of county residents, aiming to raise its crisis management capabilities to a practical level.
