Jung-gu District of Daegu (District Mayor Ryu Kyuhwa) will host the "Kim Kwangseok Street Summer Healing Concert" at the Kim Kwangseok Again Street Outdoor Concert Hall at 6 p.m. on August 23.
Launched in 2023 and now in its third year, this event is a musical performance designed to provide relief from the summer heat. It will take place on an outdoor stage with approximately 270 seats and will last for about one hour.
The stage will feature the energetic indie band "Selwipunk" and the refreshing, upbeat vocals of the "Song Mihae Band," who will present a variety of lively K-pop medleys perfect for summer, offering the audience a special experience.
Jung-gu District of Daegu plans to create a safe and comfortable environment for the audience by distributing heat illness prevention items such as ice water, fans, and cooling patches, as well as installing large fans, in line with the nature of the outdoor performance.
Ryu Kyuhwa, Mayor of Jung-gu District in Daegu, said, "I hope this Summer Healing Concert will truly be a 'healing time' for citizens and tourists weary from the heat," adding, "We will do our best to ensure that everyone visiting Kim Kwangseok Again Street can fully enjoy a fun and exciting performance."
