The Angel Box sharing project, which Jaseng Medical Foundation has been conducting annually since 2017, is a social contribution initiative that provides hygiene and daily necessities to female adolescents from low-income families facing economic hardship. Each Angel Box contains items worth approximately 100,000 won, including sanitary pads, hot packs, acne patches, and hand sanitizer.

Now in its ninth year, Jaseng Medical Foundation has delivered a total of about 2,400 Angel Boxes to female adolescents through its 21 Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospitals nationwide.

Last month, Shin Minsik, Chairman of the Social Contribution Committee at Jaseng Medical Foundation, visited the Mazzarello Center, a youth protection and treatment facility in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, and delivered 50 Angel Boxes. In addition, Yeom Seungcheol, director of Gwangju Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital, visited Seo-gu District Office in Gwangju and provided 100 Angel Boxes to Deputy District Mayor Kim Seongbae.

This month, 50 Angel Boxes were delivered to "Lazaro Youth Home," a social welfare corporation in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, and Park Wonsang, director of Boramae Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital, delivered 100 Angel Boxes to Dongjak District Mayor Park Ilha at Dongjak District Office in Seoul.

Park Byungmo, Chairman of Jaseng Medical Foundation, stated, "I hope these Angel Boxes will be helpful to female adolescents who struggle to obtain even basic hygiene products," adding, "We will continue to support the healthy growth of young people by working together with the local community."

Meanwhile, Jaseng Medical Foundation has continued to support children and adolescents every year based on its management philosophy of "Geunghyuljisim" (a compassionate heart to help those in need).
