This agreement aims to expand the scope of cooperation to include two newly established institutions, building on the achievements of a joint agreement with nine centers last year, and to strengthen mutual support in the fields of volunteer work and education.
The Logos Volunteer Group at Shinhan University carries out more than 1,500 volunteer activities each year through the operation of social service courses for students and various community-linked activities, thereby fulfilling the university's social responsibility. In particular, by connecting student volunteer work and field training with local care sites, it helps address gaps in care for children and adolescents.
Under this agreement, the two parties will promote a variety of collaborative projects, including: ▲visits to and activity linkage with partner social service organizations; ▲providing opportunities for student volunteer work and field training; ▲supporting research and program development for community development through social service; ▲issuing volunteer certificates and recognizing volunteer hours on the 1365 Volunteer Portal; and ▲exchanging information on the guidance and management of volunteer activities.

Lee Minseon, head of the Logos Volunteer Group at Shinhan University, said, "Through this agreement, we hope students will practice learning and sharing in the local care field, and that children will receive practical care and support. We will continue to create a virtuous cycle of growth for both the university and the community through volunteer education."
A representative of the Dahamkke Care Center in Uijeongbu City stated, "Through our cooperation with Shinhan University, we expect that the children at the care center will experience more diverse support and programs. We will actively collaborate so that the talents and passion of university students can shine in the field of care."
