This mutual donation was arranged so that both cooperatives could actively participate in the purpose of the Hometown Love Donation Program and promote exchange and co-prosperity between the regions. The donated funds will be used as regional development funds for Yangsan City and Haman County.

Kim Kyungwoo, head of the Yangsan City Forest Cooperative, said, "The Hometown Love Donation Program is a meaningful system that allows people to express their love for their hometowns and promote local specialties. I am pleased that we can put our love for our regions into practice through this mutual donation."

Ahn Sangjoo, head of the Haman County Forest Cooperative, also emphasized, "Mutual donations promote cooperation and development between regions. It is a system that can spread the positive effects of the Hometown Love Donation Program."

Through this mutual donation between Yangsan City and Haman County, it is expected that the two local communities will realize the value of sharing and contribute to the revitalization of the local donation culture.

The Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to donate up to 20 million won per year to local governments other than their own place of residence. Donors receive tax deductions and can also receive a variety of return gifts (up to 30% of the donation amount) provided by the respective local governments, which has a positive impact on revitalizing the local economy.
