Gijang-gun (Governor Jung Jongbok) announced on August 19 that the Ilgwang-eup Village Leaders Association has donated 2 million won to support the underprivileged.

This donation was raised from the proceeds of a recent fundraising event organized by the association and will be used for the "Ilgwang-eup Community Security Council Special Project" through the Busan Community Chest of Korea.
Hyun Sunggi, Chairman of the Ilgwang-eup Village Leaders Association, said, "It may be a small gesture, but I hope it will help our neighbors in need," and added, "We will continue to share with the local community in the future."
Governor Jung Jongbok expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for coming together with warm hearts during these difficult times. The donated funds will be used with care to support the underprivileged in the community."
