The Paransadari Project, supported by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Student Aid Foundation, is a program designed to enhance the global capabilities of university students from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds by providing them with overseas training opportunities and supporting their career development.

This year, Samyook University selected a total of 60 participants, including 51 of its own students and 9 students from other universities, to take part in training at Toronto Metropolitan University in Canada and James Cook University in Brisbane, Australia.

Before departing, the participants completed an intensive two-night, three-day pre-training program on campus. Afterwards, they spent four weeks abroad, engaging in language study, career exploration (including career education, job experience, and company visits), cultural exploration, and team projects.

All expenses, including tuition, airfare, and accommodation, were fully covered. After completing the program, individual career mentoring was provided. Samyook University also plans to give program graduates priority selection opportunities for the overseas employment training project (K-Move).

Kwon Ain, a physical therapy major at Samyook University who participated in the Canada program, shared, "Through this training, I not only improved my English skills but also broadened my perspective on the world, gained confidence, and found the courage to take on new challenges."

President Je Haejong of Samyook University stated, "I hope this experience will serve as a great inspiration in the students' lives, so that one day they can say, 'This training changed my life.'"

Meanwhile, including this year's selection, Samyook University has been chosen as an operating institution for the Paransadari Project for seven consecutive years.
