The 'Sound Planet Festival,' Asia's premier music event, will be held in Incheon for the next three years starting this year.
On August 18, the Incheon Tourism Organization signed a business agreement with Jung-gu District of Incheon and Rolling Hall Co., Ltd., the event's organizer and host, to ensure the successful hosting of 'Sound Planet Festival 2025' in Incheon.
Under the agreement, these parties will support the festival's hosting in Incheon for three years and cooperate on promoting Incheon tourism and MICE through the event, as well as advancing regional coexistence programs.
'Sound Planet Festival 2025,' which commemorates the 30th anniversary of Rolling Hall's opening, will take place at Paradise City Incheon from September 13 to 14. The festival will feature a total of five stages, including main and sub-stages, with 70 teams of domestic and international artists such as YB, Cherry Filter, Xdinary Heroes, envy, and WOODZ participating.
The Incheon Tourism Organization plans to position this festival as a pilot event for establishing a regional coexistence event model. By offering discounts to local residents, expanding participation from local businesses, and conducting social contribution activities, the organization aims to return the event's benefits to the local community and present a virtuous cycle model for music festivals.
Baek Hyun, President of the Incheon Tourism Organization, stated, "We expect about 200,000 domestic and international visitors over the next three years through the hosting of the Sound Planet Festival," adding, "We will actively support regional coexistence events to help Incheon grow as a global event city."
