Held at DDP Until the 23rd
The Korea Visual Information Design Association, in collaboration with the International Institute of Culture Technology, is hosting the international exchange exhibition "VIDAK 2025: Again 815" to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day. The event is being held at Gallery Moon in Dongdaemun Design Plaza until the 23rd. This marks the third international exchange exhibition, following two previous events held last month and earlier this month.
This exhibition has been organized to highlight the significance of August 15, as well as the values of freedom, democracy, and national sovereignty. Leading design artists from around the world, including artist Choi Gilsu Dwaerangi, are participating in the event.
In particular, a large number of artworks and videos utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) have been submitted. Exhibition pieces created by artists such as Jang Inbo using AI technology have been released through YouTube and online exhibitions. Through this exhibition, the association aims to showcase the potential and future vision of the convergence of design and technology, as well as to restore historical narratives and inspire interest among future generations.
An association representative stated, "We are continuously working to nurture next-generation talent and produce creative content through design education based on future technologies and connections to the industry," adding, "We are also committed to social contribution activities, such as supporting small and medium-sized enterprises using exhibition content and donating design profits."
Corporate members such as Sigongtech Co., Ltd., Intech Design Co., Ltd., Atom Communications Co., Ltd., and Moorim Paper Co., Ltd. participated as sponsors for this exhibition.
