Corporate Social Responsibility Brings Hope to Hometown Students... Etec Solution Donates Scholarship for Talent Development

On August 19, Yeongyang County in North Gyeongsang Province announced that Etec Solution (CEO Yoon Yongsoo) visited the Yeongyang County Office and donated a scholarship of 1 million KRW to support the development of local talent.

CEO Yoon, originally from Yeongyang, runs Etec Solution, a specialized water treatment company in Seongju County, North Gyeongsang Province. In addition to his business activities, he has continuously contributed to social causes.


This scholarship donation is a meaningful act of sharing that supports the academic pursuits of younger generations from his hometown and greatly contributes to local educational initiatives, resonating warmly within the community.


Notably, CEO Yoon's wife also donated 2 million KRW to the Yeongyang County Scholarship Foundation in 2019, and the couple has consistently practiced philanthropy together.


Yoon Yongsoo stated, "With the hope that students from my hometown can focus on their studies in a better environment, I wanted to offer this small gesture of support," adding, "I will continue to seek ways to grow with and contribute to the local community."


County Governor Oh Dochang expressed, "Despite challenging economic conditions, I am deeply grateful to CEO Yoon Yongsoo for remembering his hometown and practicing generosity," and added, "The donated scholarship funds will be used with care to improve the educational environment for local students and to foster future talent."


The Yeongyang County Scholarship Foundation plans to continue a variety of scholarship support programs to help local students focus on their studies in a stable environment.
