Strengthening Merchandise for Young Customers
SR, the operator of the Suseo High-Speed Railway (SRT), announced on August 19 that it has launched its second SRT train block set in collaboration with Oxford, a domestic block toy manufacturer. The first product was released in February, and following a positive response from family customers, the company introduced this follow-up product just six months later.
This new product consists of a total of 126 block pieces. It includes a train, a station building, and five types of figurines. Users can also decorate the exterior by applying stickers. In particular, the design of the actual SRT train's front section has been incorporated to enhance realism.
Compared to the first product released in February this year, the new set offers expanded features. The number of blocks has increased from 114 to 126. The number of figurines has expanded from three to five, and the number of passenger cars has increased from one to two. The train's front design has also been newly applied. Meanwhile, features such as motorized movement, lighting, and sound effects have been retained to ensure an immersive play experience.
The new product is available for purchase at major online malls, including Naver Smart Store, as well as at large offline retailers.
Last year, SR signed a performance-sharing agreement with Oxford and has since been co-developing SRT-related merchandise. This block set is a result of their collaboration, targeting infants and young children as customers.
Lee Jongguk, CEO of SR, said, "The first block set received a positive response from family customers, which led to the launch of this new product. We hope the expanded features and new design will further increase customer satisfaction, and we plan to introduce a wider variety of SRT merchandise in the future."
