Shinhan Financial Group announced on the 19th that it has officially launched 'Shinhan SOLmate,' a brand specialized for senior customers.
This brand combines Shinhan's flagship digital brand 'SOL' with the concept of a 'soulmate,' meaning a lifelong companion, to signify a reliable partner that helps customers prepare for major life transitions after retirement.
The focus is on supporting not only elderly customers but also those preparing for a new chapter in life, such as retirement or career changes, by providing integrated financial and non-financial solutions to help them maintain economic stability and social engagement.
Through the launch of this brand, Shinhan Financial's major affiliates plan to sequentially introduce customized financial and lifestyle services tailored to each stage of the customer life cycle.
In the financial sector, the company will enhance its lineup of products needed during life transitions, such as pensions, trusts, funds, insurance, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and loans, and strengthen cash flow-based asset management solutions to help mitigate the post-retirement income gap.
In the non-financial sector, Shinhan plans to expand lifestyle services closely related to daily life, including premium nursing homes and senior communities, hospital reservation services, dementia prevention programs, and job placement support for re-employment.
Going forward, Shinhan Financial intends to further develop its services centered on the SOL app, and expand cultural, artistic, and health-related events, with the goal of evolving the 'SOLmate' brand into an integrated online and offline comprehensive life care platform.
