Project Proposals Accepted on City Website from August 18 to September 2
Gimhae City in Gyeongnam Province plans to officially incorporate projects desired by citizens into its major business plans for next year.
The city announced that, under the theme "My Ideas Shape Gimhae in 2026," it will be accepting proposals from citizens for projects they hope to see implemented next year, from August 18 to September 2.
Any Gimhae citizen can propose projects in various fields, and proposals should be submitted through the "2026 Major Business Plan Citizen Policy Proposal" section within the "Open Mayor's Office" on the city's website.
The city will review the submitted proposals by department by September 5, and those deemed highly feasible and effective will be reflected in next year's initial budget.
For projects whose budget allocation is completed without issue, the city plans to officially include them in next year's major business plans in December and present them as detailed policies.
Han Kyungyong, head of the city’s Policy Planning Division, stated, "Next year's major business plans will be tangible plans that reflect the thoughts and voices of our citizens," adding, "We hope to receive a wide range of proposals, from practical, everyday ideas that are difficult for the administration to identify due to institutional inertia, to long-term future development projects."
