According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, Gwangju and Jeonnam will be on the edge of a high-pressure system located over the sea south of Japan, resulting in expected rainfall of 5 to 40mm in these areas.
The maximum perceived temperature will rise to around 35 degrees Celsius, similar to the previous day, making for a hot day. Morning lows will range from 23 to 26 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will reach 32 to 34 degrees Celsius.
Waves in the coastal waters of the West Sea and South Sea will remain calm at 0.5 meters, and ultrafine dust concentrations will stay at a 'good' level. An official from the Meteorological Administration advised, "Infants, the elderly, pregnant women, and those with chronic illnesses are particularly susceptible to heat-related illnesses, so please take extra care to protect your health."
