Coupang Hosts the 'Stationery Art Festival'
AliExpress Launches the 'Preference Festival' with Over 100 Brands
Starting August 18, e-commerce platforms Coupang and AliExpress are launching discount events offering up to 80% off. Coupang will host the 'Stationery Art Festival,' a joint event across stationery, office supplies, art, and musical instrument categories, running through August 31.
The Stationery Art Festival is a large-scale event held twice a year. This time, a wide range of popular brands are participating, including Monami, Morning Glory, and Sanrio (stationery); Sysmax and Kapamax (office supplies); and Duro and Young Chang (musical instruments).
The highlight of the event is the 'First-Come, First-Served Special Deals' corner. Every day during the event, at 2 p.m., two products will be offered in limited quantities at a discount of approximately 80%. On August 18, the 'Roadmail Korea Premium Laminating Film 80MIC (regular price 8,900 KRW)' will be available for around 1,000 KRW, and on August 19, the 'Scotch One-Touch Tape Dispenser Set (regular price 28,500 KRW)' will be offered for around 5,000 KRW.
Other discount sections include: 'This Week's Discount PICK,' offering around 30% off select items at all times; 'Warehouse Clearance PICK,' featuring value-for-money products; and 'New Semester Supplies PICK,' which recommends customized supplies by subject and category.
Featured discounted products include: Java Pen Power Name Pen (6-pack, around 2,000 KRW), Monami FX 153 Ballpoint Pen 1.0mm (around 8,000 KRW), Hyundai Office Paper Friend A3 Laminator (around 130,000 KRW), and Duro V5 NA Digital Piano (around 650,000 KRW).
There are also prize draws for customers, with a total of 3.7 million KRW worth of prizes (6 types) prepared. Customers are automatically entered by checking in at the event corner. Those who check in 10 or more times have a chance to win a 'Dynatone The new 580S Piano' (2 winners) or a 'Duro V5 NA Digital Piano' (2 winners). Those who check in 5 or more times can win a '2Coby Pencil Sharpener' (10 winners), '2Coby Washable Paint Marker' (10 winners), 'Sanrio New Semester Stationery Set' (10 winners), or 'Nimbot Label Printer' (5 winners). Winners will be announced individually via Instagram direct message (DM) on October 10.

AliExpress is holding the 'Preference Festival' for 10 days through August 27, offering up to 80% off in partnership with over 100 domestic and international brands. This Preference Festival is a customized promotion reflecting each customer's diverse lifestyle and preferences.
During the event, themed promotions such as Travel Day, Hobby Day, Trendy Day, and Home Day will be held in sequence. Specialized products and benefits are offered in areas such as travel, hobbies, beauty, and living. The event features a wide selection across six major categories, including electronics, sports and leisure, pet supplies, and home automation.
Key benefits include: up to 80% off all items, '1,000 KRW Deal' for new customers, flash sales on new and popular items (up to 50% off), and time-limited deals. Popular items such as Glasslock airtight container sets, Kovea camping gear, Lecaf sports fashion items, and Volvik golf balls will be available at special prices.
Additionally, AliExpress Travel is running a '100 KRW Lucky Box' event. Customers planning domestic or international trips during the October and December holidays can receive airline, hotel, and admission discount coupons valued between 75,000 KRW and 2 million KRW, as well as 1+1 coupon benefits. Users can easily participate by searching 'Lucky Box' in the app's search bar.
