Mona Yongpyong Achieves Record-High First Half Revenue of KRW 160 Billion

Mona Yongpyong, a four-season premium resort led by CEO Lim Hakwoon, announced on August 14 that it achieved record-breaking results for the first half of 2025.

According to the consolidated financial statements, Mona Yongpyong's revenue for the half-year period reached KRW 159.954 billion, marking a 36.4% increase compared to the same period last year. Operating profit surged by 84.1% to KRW 19.244 billion, with an operating margin of 12%. Net profit for the period amounted to KRW 9.504 billion, representing a 195.7% increase year-on-year and establishing a stable profit structure.

The main driver behind this performance improvement was the premium condominium Lusongchae, which was completed in June. Revenue from Lusongchae was recognized in stages according to the construction progress, and the remaining construction revenue was reflected at the time of completion, contributing to this half-year's results. Sales are still ongoing, and customers continue to respond positively to its high-end design and private space configuration.

Mona Yongpyong is also actively pursuing structural improvements in its resort operations. As part of its strategy to reduce seasonal sales fluctuations, the company is strengthening summer-specific activities and actively attracting new content such as the international mountain bike competition 'UCI MTB World Series.' These efforts are part of a mid- to long-term plan to evenly distribute revenue throughout the year, which has traditionally been concentrated in winter, and to secure a stable profit base.

A Mona Yongpyong representative stated, "In addition to the successful sales of Lusongchae, balanced growth across all business sectors-including leisure, accommodation, and F&B-and the expansion of four-season content have significantly contributed to our improved performance. We will continue to pursue sustainable growth in the second half of the year through the advancement of wellness programs and global ski pass partnerships."
