Starbucks Launches Four Specialty-Sized Drinks at Family-Friendly Store

New Smaller Size Than Tall
Drawing Kit and Reusable Cup Giveaway Events

On August 14, Starbucks Korea announced the launch of four new family drinks at its Sejong Arts Center store, which was designed with a family-friendly concept to cater to families with young children.


The family drinks lineup consists of four options: Strawberry Delight Yogurt Blended, Mango Passion Fruit Blended, Chocolate Cream Chip Frappuccino, and Caramel Cream Frappuccino. These drinks are served in a 265ml size, which is smaller than the tall size (355ml), making them accessible to a wider range of age groups. They are available exclusively at the Sejong Arts Center store.

Customers who purchase these drinks receive a custom kit that allows them to personalize their beverages. The custom kit includes six types of toppings: strawberry drizzle, chocolate drizzle, caramel drizzle, strawberry powder, chocolate powder, and blue powder. These can be used in a designated area within the store.


To commemorate the launch, Starbucks is offering a drawing kit containing crayons in five colors to customers who purchase family drinks and spend at least 15,000 won at the Sejong Arts Center store.


In addition, at stores nationwide, Starbucks is introducing ten recommended drinks that the whole family can enjoy, including Mango Banana Blended, Peach Yogurt Blended, and Light Pink Grapefruit Fizzy. Customers who purchase these drinks and spend at least 20,000 won will receive a reusable cup, while supplies last.


The Sejong Arts Center store, which opened in May as Starbucks Korea's first family-friendly specialized location, features a total of 172 seats and a variety of spaces designed for families. The first floor is equipped with group seating for family visitors and wide aisles to accommodate strollers. The store also offers around 200 books on culture and the arts, including children's books, as well as a family lounge with nursing facilities, fixed diaper changing stations, and tableware for young children. Notably, there is a coloring creative tumbler experience area where children can decorate their own tumblers.


The second floor is designed to allow people of all ages to enjoy culture and the arts. It features Starbucks global artwork as well as pieces created in collaboration with local leather craft artists, providing a variety of visual attractions. The second floor also offers books related to coffee and the arts, creating an environment where customers can relax and enjoy reading at their leisure.
