Assigned to Culinary, Guest Services, and Food & Beverage Departments for Two Months
Booyoung Group Changshin University announced on August 14 that it will operate the 'Booyoung Track' Summer Field Training Semester Program until August 20. This program allows students to gain hands-on experience in jobs related to their majors, and outstanding participants may be offered full-time positions based on their evaluations.
For this field training, 14 students majoring in relevant fields have been assigned to departments such as culinary, guest services, and food and beverage at Jeju Booyoung Hotel & Resort, a leisure subsidiary of Booyoung Group, since July 8. These students are receiving practical, job-focused training for about two months, learning both their majors and job responsibilities on site.

The Booyoung Track is operated every semester based on industry-academic cooperation between Booyoung Group and Changshin University. Any student who has completed at least four semesters is eligible to apply. In addition to gaining field experience, students may also be offered full-time employment opportunities depending on their evaluation results. Separately, the 'Booyoung Culinary Track' is also being operated with the goal of cultivating outstanding culinary talent and facilitating employment connections.
A Changshin University representative stated, "We are conducting field training during the vacation period so that students can gain practical experience relevant to their majors and career paths, and explore their future directions. We hope this opportunity will serve as a new challenge for our students."
Since acquiring Changshin University in 2019, Booyoung Group has expanded its educational support. In line with Chairman Lee Joongkeun's commitment, the group has provided a full one-year scholarship (50% for the Department of Nursing) to new students for six consecutive years. As a result, the university has achieved a 100% freshman enrollment rate for four consecutive years and ranked first in employment retention among four-year private universities in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region, establishing itself as a leading small but strong university in the area.
