Lim Youngwoong to Hold Largest-Ever Listening Party for Second Full Album at Theaters

Singer Lim Youngwoong will hold a large-scale listening party for his second full album 'IM HERO 2' at CGV theaters nationwide on the day before its release, according to Mulgogi Music and CGV on August 14, 2025.

The listening party will take place simultaneously at approximately 50 CGV theaters across the country for one day on August 28, with around 50,000 people expected to participate. This is the largest pre-release listening event ever held in Korea.

During the event, all tracks from the second full album, as well as the music video for the title track, will be unveiled. Every attendee will receive a special limited-edition gift commemorating both the album release and the listening party.

Lim Youngwoong produced this second full album in the form of an album book, without CD sales, in order to reduce the burden on fans and adopt an environmentally friendly production approach. The listening party has also been designed as a celebratory event where fans can fully enjoy the music without unnecessary competition. He stated, "I wanted to share this album, which I have poured my heart into for a long time, with my fans before anyone else," and added, "I hope this will be a precious time where music and emotion come together."

Tickets for the listening party will be available for reservation sequentially at each CGV theater starting at 10 a.m. on August 21. Lim Youngwoong's second full album will be released on various music platforms on August 29, and he will begin a nationwide tour concert starting in October.
