Yangcheon District in Seoul (District Mayor: Lee Gijae) is recruiting the "10th Yangcheon-gu Promotional Models," who will deliver district news and policies from the residents’ perspective, until September 5.

The recruitment categories are divided into five age groups: children (ages 5-7), students (ages 8-19), young adults (ages 20-39), middle-aged adults (ages 40-59), and seniors (ages 60 and above), with a total of 25 individuals to be selected. The chosen promotional models will participate in various district promotional shoots for two years starting in October 2025, serving as the faces that showcase the appeal of the local community.

This year, the previous "second camera test" has been eliminated, and the application process has been changed to require a self-introduction video of up to 30 seconds to make it more convenient for applicants. In addition, the multicultural category has been integrated, allowing foreign residents of Yangcheon-gu to apply according to their age group. The adult category has also been subdivided to enable promotional activities tailored to each age group’s characteristics.

Applicants must download the application form from the Yangcheon District Office website, complete it, and submit one full-body and one upper-body frontal photo taken within the past six months, along with a video file introducing Yangcheon-gu (up to 30 seconds, any format), to the designated email address by September 5.

The district plans to promote major policies, festivals and events, and attractions through various media such as newsletters, social media, and YouTube using the promotional models, and will provide a set activity fee.

Lee Gijae, Mayor of Yangcheon District, stated, “Being a community promotional model is an opportunity to take pride in sharing local news and to create meaningful memories,” and added, “I hope many residents will show interest and participate to become the face of Yangcheon-gu, representing our community.”
