Kim Sinho, Deputy Mayor of Yangsan City, visited G Space East on August 13 to personally inspect the local startup support infrastructure.
G Space East is located within the Yangsan Future Design Convergence Center. Since its opening in December 2023, it has operated a variety of programs, including business incubation projects for technology startups with less than seven years of history and support projects for prospective and early-stage startups. As a startup support institution, it is dedicated to expanding the startup ecosystem in Eastern Gyeongnam.
On this day, Deputy Mayor Kim Sinho received a report on the center's operations from the Gyeongnam Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, which manages G Space East. He then toured the main facilities used by startups, including 21 office spaces for resident companies, a creator studio, a lounge, and meeting rooms. He also held discussions with Gyeongnam Province officials regarding the operational direction for the coming year.
Deputy Mayor Kim Sinho stated, "G Space East serves as a forward base for innovative startups representing Eastern Gyeongnam (Yangsan, Gimhae, and Miryang). I hope it will continue to play various roles for Yangsan City's future industries, such as discovering promising local startups, broadening the foundation for entrepreneurship, spreading startup culture, and strengthening networks among regional innovation institutions."
