According to the fire authorities, one person from a Malibu vehicle and three people from a BMW were rescued, while the driver of a K5 managed to escape on their own. Two rescue vehicles and eight personnel were dispatched to the scene and responded promptly.
The three rescued individuals were sent home via the Goeup expressway, and emergency responders confirmed that there were no injuries or other notable issues.
For safety reasons, the police have completely closed both directions of the road between Lucky General Store and Dain Makguksu.
A fire department official urged, "During periods of heavy rain, please avoid driving in areas at risk of flooding, and if you encounter a flooded road, immediately take a detour."
