Acts of Kindness Spread Through Consumption Coupon Donations
A high school student in Sejong City created a heartwarming story by using a livelihood recovery consumption coupon to purchase coffee and delivering it to local firefighters.
According to the Sejong Fire Department Headquarters on August 13, a high school student identified only as "A," who requested anonymity, visited the Sejong Northern Fire Station on August 8 and donated 50 cups of coffee. The coffee was purchased using a livelihood recovery consumption coupon that student A had received.
Student A said, "My parents run a business at the Sejong Traditional Market in Jochiwon. When there was a fire at the market last winter, I saw the firefighters’ dedication and wanted to find a way to thank them. I am even happier that I was able to use the consumption coupon for such a meaningful purpose."
Kim Jeonsu, Chief of the Northern Fire Station, stated, "The student’s warm gesture has been a great source of encouragement for our firefighters. We will continue to work with citizens to create a safe and caring fire station."
Meanwhile, in Chuncheon, after an office worker donated 50 cups of coffee purchased with a consumption coupon, the caf? owner joined in and contributed an additional 50 cups, delivering a total of 100 cups to firefighters at the Chuncheon Fire Station.
