TIMEFOLIO Asset Management announced on August 13 that the total net asset value (AUM) of its 'TIMEFOLIO Active ETF' has surpassed 2 trillion KRW.
This marks the largest scale among domestic active ETF specialized asset managers, and it is the result achieved four years after its initial listing in May 2021.
Financial industry experts noted that TIMEFOLIO Asset Management has achieved differentiated returns by leveraging its deep research capabilities and stock-picking skills, developed through its hedge fund management experience, and applying active management strategies to ETF operations. Based on these strengths, the company’s AUM has grown rapidly.
TIMEFOLIO Asset Management currently manages 16 active ETFs. Its flagship ETFs include: ▲TIMEFOLIO Global AI Artificial Intelligence Active ETF ▲TIMEFOLIO K-Culture Active ETF ▲TIMEFOLIO Korea Plus Dividend Active ETF ▲TIMEFOLIO US S&P500 Active ETF ▲TIMEFOLIO US Nasdaq100 Active ETF, among others.
The TIMEFOLIO Global AI Artificial Intelligence Active ETF rose by approximately 90% last year, ranking first among active ETFs in terms of returns. This year as well, it has gained 17% since the beginning of the year, with individual net purchases exceeding 150 billion KRW so far in 2025.
The TIMEFOLIO US S&P500 Active ETF and TIMEFOLIO US Nasdaq100 Active ETF have increased by 7% and 17%, respectively, since the start of the year. These results demonstrate the superiority of active management strategies, surpassing the performance of leveraged ETFs tracking the same indices.
A TIMEFOLIO Asset Management representative stated, "Many smart investors who carefully select high-performing ETFs have chosen TIMEFOLIO Active ETFs," adding, "This has enabled us to achieve rapid AUM growth." The representative further promised, "We will continue to meet investors' expectations by swiftly responding to market changes and quickly incorporating market-leading stocks into our portfolios."
